A 2012 study of 77,510 Washington (US) state residents in the 50 to 76-year-old range who consumed glucosamine/chondroitin supplements participated. They began the study in 2000-2002 and followed up in 2008. Researchers revealed that current use of glucosamine significantly decreased the mortality of cancer.
