A short leg can be due to a variety of situations that the doctor may address first before addressing your short leg. We at Vancouver Disc Centers will determine if the short leg is truly due to structure. If it is, you will likely be fitted with a heel lift to correct the inequality. If the inequality is larger, you may need to add a little at a time to allow your spine to adjust. In addition to correcting the difference, your chiropractic physician will align your spine with spinal manipulation.

Depending on the severity of your pain and symptoms, gentler Protocol I may be applied until 50% relief of pain or more restoring Protocol II may be applied to guide your relief.
