ANTI-AGING EXERCISE BENEFITS
We all start considering anti-aging
benefits at a certain age! One set of researchers wrote
that regular exercise has multi-system anti-aging effects and called
for more research to gain knowledge of just how molecular

BENEFICIAL DAILY EXERCISE STEPS
Walk each day with a goal of
7000 steps. Why? Research. 2,110 black and white men and women and their
steps-per-day counts were followed. They sported
an accelerometer from 2005 to 2006 and then were followed for a
mean of 10.8 years. Their stats were analyzed in 2020 and 2021
to see what, if any, association was found between steps-per-day
and all-mortality death risk. This study was a portion of the larger
CARDIA (Coronary Artery Risk Development in Young Adults) study.
Steps-taken-per-day were described as “low” (less than 7000),
“moderate” (7000-9999) and “high” (more than 10,000). Stepping intensity –
stepping rate – played a role, too. Moderate/high step rate was associated
with a decreased risk of mortality in black and
white women and men in middle-age who took 7000 steps or more a
day compared with those who walked less. (2) Vancouver Disc Centers witnesses
how walking helps – 7000 steps or not – and urges
Vancouver chiropractic patients to take walks as best
they can. Any walk works!
